About Our Sunglasses

FRAME / FRAME MATERIAL

In addition to our frame's stylish look, all of our frames have been laboratory certified as children safe. Your child's safety is our top concern which is why we have carefully selected materials that are safe for children without sacrificing the stylish look and feel of our frames. We are very proud to say that all of our frames have been carefully tested as BPA, phthalates, and lead free! We all know that infants and toddlers put everything in their mouth which is exactly why we wanted to be sure that our frames did not contain any of these potentially harmful chemicals.

TAC POLARIZED LENSES

All of our sunglasses come with Tri Acetate Cellulose (TAC) Polarized lenses as well to help reduce glare and eye strain. TAC polarized lenses are extremely lightweight and have a very high impact resistance which has been tested by an FDA compliance test. There are 7 specific layers of coatings that make up our lenses which can be seen in the diagram below:

HINGES / SMALL PARTS

Unlike many other children's sunglasses on the market, our frames do not contain ANY small pieces, such as metal hinges or screws that could easily fall off into your child's mouth. We worked closely with our manufacturer to mold a snap together hinge to our frames to protect your child from any potential choking hazards. See the image below:
